Tucson's Highland Vista Neighborhood: Community Calendar, Pool Info, Neighborhood Resources, and More! Welcome! Welcome! Welcome! Welcome! Located in Central Tucson, Highland Vista Neighborhood is bounded by Broadway, Craycroft, E. 5th Street and Rosemont. Initially developed in mid-1950’s, the housing emphasizes adobe brick with open design and features a neighborhood park on the North bank of Arcadia Wash with play structures, field, baseball dugout, little library, community garden, and a membership based swimming pool . Many of the neighborhood amenities have been created and maintained by volunteers from the community, while the park is maintained by the City of Tucson and the community garden by Community Gardens of Tucson . Pool rules to keep the HVNA Pool safe and fun for everyone. Pool Policies Pool Policies Pool Policies Pool Policies Download Current Policy Download Pool and Facility Rules As a Member, you are a steward of the Highland Vista Pool For your safety and the safety of others, all members and their guests must adhere to all the pool rules. Failure to do so may result in fines or termination of your membership. Members are expected to watch their children, honor the guidelines, and be courteous to other member families wishing to swim safely. SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK 1. No horseplay and no running on the pool deck or concrete areas. 2. No climbing on the walls, trees, fence, ramadas, tables, or gates. 3. No skateboards, bikes, roller skates, etc on the pool deck. 4. No rough-housing in the pool that endangers the safety of other swimmers. 5. No large pool toys or floats. 6. No glass permitted in the facility. 7. No drinks of any kind in the pool or on the pool deck. 8. No tobacco, smoking, e-cigarettes, or vaping allowed in the facility. 9. No jumphouses allowed in the facility. 10. No animals allowed in the facility. 11. No profanity or disruptive/offensive behavior that interferes with the enjoyment of the pool by other members. 12. Swimmers must shower before entering the pool. 13. Swimmers must wear swimwear in the pool - NO STREET CLOTHES allowed. 14. THE GATE MUST BE KEPT CLOSED AND LOCKED AT ALL TIMES . If you see that the gate is propped open, please close it. 15. All pool members and guests must sign in. 16. Members are responsible for their guests’ behavior. If the member leaves, all guests must leave. 17. More than 9 guests is considered a party. Parties are limited to 50 guests. 18. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a person 15 years of age or older at all times. 19. Children who cannot swim on their own must be accompanied in the water by an adult. 20. Swimmers not toilet-trained are required at all times to wear the following: a disposable swim diaper, plastic pants to cover the diaper, and a swimsuit. 21. Lifeguards on duty and Pool Board Members have COMPLETE AUTHORITY to enforce Pool Rules. BACK TO TOP
